Psychiatrist by penelope jayne hornsey Friday, April 11, 2003 Share Print Save Become a Fan I dont like my psychiatrist!!!!!! Would appreciate feedback on this one please, I was letting off steam and not sure what its like?????
You mess my understanding With clinical conjecture, A learned person in a High back leather chair. You dispense text book cures? From a face that shows no care. Fancy words masquerade reality With a benign lack of comprehension. Assumptions pour forth from your Over fed egoistic strata, As you admonish life style. Prescriptions pay your bills In a world of mental ills. Be thank full for the nutter I keep you from the gutter Wherein you think I dwell.

My first Pdoc acted like an ADHD child on speed. I don't think he ever heard a word I said. Needless to say, I know your feelings of abject frustration.

Hypnotherapy is much better, and you get to the problem much quicker. Visualization helps you to get over whatever is bothering you and helps you problem-solve in the future too. Very good work.

i know how it is to go to someone and not be helped. i went to a psychologist long ago while in high school (had problems dealing with people teasing me, also had problems at home), and he didn't do me any good. he also spoke very little in the way of english, or what english he DID speak, i did NOT understand him AT all. so i left. the best one i ever had was a woman i saw while i was in junior high school; she really helped me a LOT! but now i don't go to see anyone; the best one i have is one i can go to anytime, and he is free: JESUS. i count on him to help me through my troubles, and he has helped me tremendously. he is better than any doctor here on earth, and he DOES work! :) (((HUGS)))
