High heel shoes

They give me the blues

To walk down the hall

Like a toddler to tumble and fall

A symbol to be sexy, seductive and sleek

Red, white and blue, they look so chic

They may be in style

But donít walk a mile

Letís not talk of health

Feet that ache, arches that hurt

For on these spikes to stand

Pains in the back weíre sure to land

In the battle of the sexes

We have no strength or reflexes

Unbalanced and lame we loose

Like the old, to be helpless and weak we choose

Donít laugh, itís true

If weíre not beautiful weíre blue

Some Chinese women bind their feet

We walk on stilts, I wish they were obsolete!

But oh those shoes they make our legs look so good...
Much peace, love and light,
'Amber
