Happy, unhappy me,
Happy to be free from negative energy.
Happy,Unhappy me,
Unhappy to see violence surrounding my city streets.
But I'm happy, happy to be unique and face my reality,
In this terrible time of tragedy.
Sometimes my heart fails,
But my Lord helps me to prevail.
Can I have peace, peace in my society?
lord please heal there anxiety.
Every day's a living testimony.
G's,Refugees,G's rebail against the plan,
but I show compassion to those who dont yet understand.
I hold the hands of the condemned, the one's who face hell.
Unhappy, happy me,
Sad to see my generation jailed,
By self betrayal,
But I'm happy to remember who's hand's were nailed,
And they too can prevail.
This pain runs deep inside me,
Deep, deep like the Red Sea.
In God We Trust.
Believing in the Lord is a must,
Because hate is not our friend,
Hate is our enemy,
It ruins young boy's and girl's like you and me.
Although it's sad to see,
I remain happy,but sometimes unhappy me.. |

Happy, UnHappy may sound like a contradiction, but your whole poem makes sense. So much compassion within these lines, along with sadness for the travails of society. I'm glad your hope is grounded in the Lord.

Believing in the Lord is a must, Because hate is not our friend ...... perfectly said. It seems our entire world is in turmoil but each of us must find happiness within ourselves. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
