MISSING YOU
It’s that time of year
That certain part of December
All the changes in the air
Memories come flooding back
With a rush of emotions
To huge to contain
I’M MISSING YOU
You loved all the lights
The tinsel and ice
I could always see the season
Bring out the beautiful child within
Decorations you felt could never be over done
The smell and warmth of cinnamon spice
All through the house
OH HOW I MISS YOU
You loved giving and getting
Whether it be cards or gifts
Making sure no one had been forgotten
Was not a simple task
Your heart always so big with love and laughter
I REALLY MISS YOU
This time of year can be so hard and bitter sweet
I want so much to make more memories
But I know and realize it can never be
It will forever break my heart
I MISS YOU SO TERRIBLY

I so relate to the insane pain that this time of year brings.
Heart wrenching, I share the same pain.
This has been written with your own metaphorical, bleeding. |
