Did I see...

From the dark ages... Inspired by an X or two...

Did I see... All my dreams would come,
and crash inside of me.

Is it true ... Can it be too real,
in my life of make believe.

And for you... You could have told me,
that life is so despaired.

But you showed me instead...

Only a handful of dreams to pick from,
and none of them was you...

As for me... You’ll find me in your
lies, your painful miseries.

Holding fast... To the one thing that I know is true ,
but now I am gone.

Even from me...

Maybe you’ll see...

I'm not the only thing that you were running from.

I don't know whether to be happy or sad.
Well done.
