This is a poem about what happened on September 11, 2001. This poem is my point of view about that day. I wrote another poem entitled "America (I'm still here)" This poem is on my authorsden website. So check it out also.

The 11th of September
Was a day to remember
A day the USA
Was attacked in a vicious way
It was a horrible sight
The day evil challenged right
The day terrorist challenged our freedom
The day terrorist challenged our momentum
A day full of chaos
A day full of emotion
A day full of terror
A day full of commotion
A day full of heatache and despair
Caused by terrorist who attacked us without a care
They attacked us
When our guard was down
They attacked us loudly
With a tremendous sound
We were awakened by this event
Now its payback time
Our soldiers are sent
To find and destroy this evil
To make everything all right
To make everything civil
Now we must bring the USA back
We must stand together
Now we must make life as we know it
Are you getting this?
Do you understand?
If you are an American
Then raise your hand
We are survivors
We will always survive
We can overcome anything
We will always strive
I am an American
I have American pride
I'm going to stand up for my country
I'm not going to sit back and hide
We are family
The American clan
I'm your number one fan
Show your pride
Express it
If you are an American
Confess it
We stand together
We are lost forever
The American spirit will never die
Will never go away
We are united
This I say
My home forever
My home to stay

Jason, I respect your loyalty to your land. But I would like you to read , read and read to discover all about it.
And in case you wonder what I mean.. Arabs, Muslims, Christians or otherwise, had nothing to do with that one.

I have a picture for you to post with your poem; if interested, contact me!
