Power
Powerful men wield a sword
There seems nothing we can do
But –
Listen to this short story
That I can relate to you
There was a man, sadistic, cruel
His arm was hammer strong
His legs quickly covered ground
His reach was very long
He terrorised his neighbours
And his wife was made to hide
But –
Being ignorant, he didn't know
What rode upon the tide
Swimming in the sea one day
The beach was ‘none too clean’
He didn’t think, but very soon
Would regret where he had been
His coffin, carried by eight men
Was heavy and long – for he
Was defeated by a virus - too small
For the naked eye to see
A miniscule item was stronger
Had surpassing force and power
Than this bully - who caused such fear
And
No one left a flower
