 I cried to Jesus

To save my soul

He gave me salvation

And made me whole

My flowing tears

He did dry

I was as if He said

I heard your cry

There will still be times

When the tears will flow

But I will go to Jesus

Then peace I will know

He will speak to my soul

My flowing tears He will dry

His sweet voice will say, I am here and

I heard your cry

When I die I will enter Heaven

Through the pearly gate

The angels will show me

My wonderful fate

Jesus will then say

My child welcome home

The beauty that waits for you

Has never been known

He will then say, my child

As you view this beautiful land

You will know you made it here

By clinging to My hand

In this new land

You will never die

For when you asked for salvation

I heard your cry
