Andy, please give Mr. Piddles a raise…

Thought I’d barbeque something different this Fourth of July

My chum in England, Mr. Piddles, suggested a turkey I try

He said the Fourth in England is like Thanksgiving Day

“Please let me send you a plump one, straight away!”

So he graciously sent me a Butterball via Federal Express

Proclaiming that British turkeys are simply the best

But I think I got a massive hernia when I lifted the box

These big British turkeys weigh as much as an ox

It took several of my neighbors to help me shove it into my grill

But I must say the aroma is tantalizing, and my family is thrilled

We should have plenty of leftovers from our big barbeque

Probably even enough extras to make turkey stew

The MOD Squad is flying in for this barbeque

From fighting the bad guys, they need a break, too

Unfortunately, The Queen has sent her regrets

She says she’s busy, hasn’t finished Bug Life yet

And my two dogs are ecstatic, and their tails do thump

I’ve promised my pets they can feast on this turkey’s rump

And now it truly does feel like Thanksgiving this July

We’ve got turkey, ice cold beer, and American pie

Pip, Pip, Tally Ho; I’m off now to the big BBQ feast

This British turkey is delicious, and truly ‘A Beast’

A Happy Thanksgiving, To Each and Everyone

These British traditions are FUN, FUN, FUN!

I'm afraid at my house it will be the traditional hot dogs, hamburgers and steak with plenty of soda. But each should enjoy our nations holiday in what ever fasion they are used to. For my Australian friends, put another shrimp on the barbie and have fun. Happy Fourth Of July to all in the den Great write Ed. You are the master.

Give Karen and Karla????

LOLOL Ed. I took Mr Piddles on the London eye, and told him this is a high raise.

He said I was Barking.

Have fun fun fun, on the battle you think you won.

I wonder if in Boston they chuck tea in the sea.

Funny someone calls me a British Beast.

Look out for the Red coats...

Forget turkey, I am going to Teds,
And he is only a few hundred miles away,
But you have yourself a "supper" good day,
Don't be fightin' with the dogs over the food you have today...

Happy 4th, will be on the beach tomorrow for a bit, will think about you all while doing so...or maybe NOT! Peace, Ed & Rufuz

I am having some Blue potato salad, made with blue cheeses and red white and blue Peruvian potatoes. I will be eating red meat as in Ribeye steaks cooked rare. Then I will be dining on a white pasta and lobster in a cold salad.
My beer will be America's oldest brew and I will top it off with some Jack Daniels single barrel shooters. Happy Birthday America.

And a Merry Christmas to you and yours... and mine.. and his... and that guys over there, yeah him! Hurray... barbeque, beer, brits, em.. hmmm.. all you need now are bongos! Today is Roger's birthday! Wheeeee.. Mr. Piddles will make it a jolly ole day... no splatting allowed, I'm sure. Hey, Little Eddie.. who's the Butterball up there? could it be??? the one and only?? ain't he a cutie?! yes, yes.. you're a cutie too.. sigh.. gotta be fair... oh, god.. one more thing: with your reputation, I feel justified in advising you NOT to be mooning any neighbors or, EGADS, the Little General! AND... don't you dare set off fireworks under any ladies wearing dresses. Alright... you may go. (grin) katy xox.
