DPS Comics

Is Proud to Announce

The Very Recent Acquisition

Of an Authentic British Comic Book

- Intro -

It’s very true that America has its Baywatch

Where lovely lifeguards patrol the sunny beach

But here in the treacherous foggy bogs of Britain

Our very heroic lass rescues those ‘just out of reach’

“Why it was just the other day, I do believe,

When I had to go in after Farmer Silas Dow;

That poor man had been chased into the bog,

By one of his very agitated, extremely mad cows.”

“And I believe it was just a few weeks back,

When a very disturbed lovesick peacock fell in;

You should have heard its very pathetic cries for help,

When I reached it, that bloody bird was almost done in.”

These two harrowing heartwarming British bog rescues

Are all in a day’s work for our Lifeguard Kate Bogside

Who so diligently patrols her assigned bog 24 hours a day

Rescuing anyone who tumbles into her bog area with pride

“It ain’t no Yankee Doodle Day at the beach,

I can tell all you very pampered Yanks that.

I have to keep in fairly good physical condition,

And I constantly work out to keep down me body fat.

I can’t afford to get bogged down around here,

That’s for bloody sure.”

And if you think these daylight bog rescues are treacherous

In these bogs at night Kate never knows just what might be found

Lifeguard Kate Bogside has a million ‘after dark’ bog stories to tell

Including very haunting tales of wretched drowning Baskerville hounds

“You ain’t heard nothin,

‘Til you hear them wretched hounds howl.”

So please join all of us at Dead Poet Society Comic Books

In welcoming Bogwatch and this lovely heroic British lifeguard

You won’t want to miss one exciting issue of this fabulous new series

The treacherous bogs of Britain – Lifeguard Kate Bogside’s backyard

What a ROARING good time, this Ghost Cruise promises to be, Ed!
Kate is darling - and perfect for the role - even though she can't swim??? AHA! Maybe LIGeorge can rescue her from the bogs, since he has previously maneuvered them! A promising saga...

DPS ROCKS! ^-^-^-^-^-^-^-^ sea-sick anybody?

... And, before you even ask, I ain't rescuin no Pythons... nor mud-wrestlin them either!! :)) AND IT AIN'T A SWIMSUIT, IT'S A STRETCHY TOP!!!!

An honour to have such an awesome role and responsibility aboard Ark Kookie... but just one sliiiiiiiiiiiiight problem... can someone teach me to swim?? And I think I need some inflatables to qualify for Bogwatch status...

BTW... when I was down on the Funny Farm the other day, Madge was trialin some new mud beauty products and would be interested in cutting a new video aboard the Black Pearl... she wants your Dance Instructors to teach her some new moves... any interest?? Could be good for publicity...

Thanks for the call-up, Ed!! :))See ya aboard and down at the Korroded Gym. LOL Klimbingframe Kate xx

ExasperEd You have filled the DPS ship with unique characters found nowhere else (except perhaps insanityville;)and this cruise is worth far more than you're asking!I say raise the rates and keep the dullards away, we have all the best at DPS! Yay Team! (Is OgreEd trying to shed his former image, by distracting us with all these fantastic comics;-)
