Itís Easter Sunday

Time to Truly Rejoice

The birds are all a singin

What a merry Easter voice

The little woman and I now

Dressed in our Easter suits

I even took a hot Easter bath

And spit shined my old boots

Itís Easter Sunday

Time to Truly Rejoice

The birds are all a singin

What a lovely Easter voice

We thank God for another Easter

This one may be our best one yet

We are just so glad to be together

And blessed with wonderful pets

Itís Easter Sunday

Time to Truly Rejoice

The birds are all a singin

What a cheerful Easter voice

Our many critters are all a frolickin

Although thereís a cool nip in the air

Much warmer days will soon be here

Filled with natureís glory everywhere

Itís Easter Sunday

Time to Truly Rejoice

The birds are all a singin

What a joyous Easter voice

We have finally discovered

That the simple lifeís the best

Enjoyin each day as it comes

And now feelin so very blessed

Itís Easter Sunday

Time to Truly Rejoice

The birds are all a singin

What a thankful Easter voice

All of us at Thornwood Manor

Wish each and every one

An Easter Sunday filled

With Laughter Love and Fun

Itís Easter Sunday

Time to Truly Rejoice

The birds are all a singin

What a Very Happy Easter Voice

Happy Easter, To One and All

You got us, Ed. The grandkids came piling in to sit on me at the computer to hear your music, and see your art. Then I read the poem to them. I even took a hot shower before we went to church, but I skipped the shoes. Thanks--Jerry

Mr. Ed,

First, love the pic, how surreal-starts out appearing woodlike than turns to cut-outs. Love it.

The writ is wonderful as well. Loving and warm.
