We Eds Are Celebrating Again Today,
Today is Old Brother Edvard’s Big Day;
And, From All Around the Wide World,
Gifts and Greetings, Are Arriving Today.
From Dear Old Momma Ed For Him,
A Beautiful Birthday Card and Wish;
And A Bouquet of Lovely Tiger Lilies,
From Tiger Lily Ed, Our Very Loving Sis.
And Even a Very Mysterious Bottle of Liquor,
From Canada, From Jasmin Horst & Santa Fee;
But when we cracked it open, and made a toast,
Old Edvard’s reaction to it, was very plain to see.
“What the heck is this booze made from,
And how do they drink this stuff up there?”
So we carefully read the bottle’s ingredients:
‘Contains Moose Musk, and Essence of Bear.’
Happy, Happy Birthday, To Old Brother Edvard,
And Thank God, Someone Else Sent Pepto Bismol;
But We Ed Brothers Thank Everyone For Their Gifts,
Including The Two Wild and Crazy Canucks, After All.
