Become a Fan

We have waited so long
So very long to find our way
Our paths have been many
Too many, too long
We are in the Autumn of our lives

I know we will meet soon
And how eagerly I wait
To hold you in my arms
To touch your face

I long to spend many years
Loving you, getting to know you
You are my heart, my friend
You inspire me, you fill me up

And when our time here is through
I long to lay next to you
As we hold each other
As we slip into the other side.
