I hear your voice
It echoes in my head
Chanting out the words
Felt but dared
Never to be said

I feel you in my heart
Way deep in the
Saddest part
I feel the warmth of
The tears as they
Began to flow
Fueled by the heat that stirs
In my soul
Remnants of a burning desire
I can not let the
Flames burn higher
For there is no quench or satisfier

I hear your voice
It echoes in my head
I feel you in my heart
Way down
In the saddest part

Love this poem. I feel my dead husband is the saddes part of me but have good memories to remember too. it is a struggle through grief but poems like yours and this one help too. I stil hear his voice when trying to sleep at night and his laughter.

You wrote the sadest part but joy alway comes in the morning. Love sometimes and often hurts and yes my friend that is the sadest part.

Oh so very true, Mister. Thnx for sharing. May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, stubborn to a fault, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your still very sad and terrified little sister, Barbie

It's saddest when we found our voice, but there is no one there to listen and understand. Yes, that's the saddest part.

Wonderful write indeed!
