Who was it that said "there is nothing to fear but fear its self" ?

A Treacherous night mare showed up one night

Flicks in black and white

played out on the screen

Things that I had and had not seen

Go away old storm

And take your dark clouds

And the clapping of your thunder so loud.

Like a strike of your lighten

Be off in a flash

Iíve weathered you through

sweet sleep at last.

I just love your fresh and imaginative way with words Debra!
Liked the comparisons to a theater and the way it came to an end.
Ah yes! sweet sleep. You captured the essence of relief.
Stunning.

Great reading for all and we all dream and sometimes they are good and sometimes bad and wake us and we truly remember the good and bad dreams. But that is life. Nice writing and thoughtful of you.

To finally be able to get some rest after all has passed. Yet, in the distance you can still hear the rumbling and see the glistening light against the dark sky.

Be safe,
