There are times when things just donít go the way you thought they would. You realize that there needs to be changes and you state they will happen soon. The problem for some is that they just donít know when soon is.

Picture from

I know I promised many things.
Some pulled on personal heart strings.
I flew to you my doubts with wings,
Ďcause Iím not really sure when soon is.

I asked you for your plan today.
Our agenda was to think and play.
I promised changes but did not say,
Ďcause Iím not really sure when soon is.

Now Iím having second thoughts,
not sure of how much time I bought.
Our time together is what I sought,
and Iím not really sure when soon is.

I thought my words would say Iím wrong.
This poem, my way to sing that song.
To get back on track will be soon not long,
but Iím not really sure when soon is.

I LOve this poem Michael!
Another in your folder, for me to read over 'soon'...
This fits our hearts, with all the writing we do and trying to fit so much in IN A DAY! or a WEEK!
Such words written with discreet. Love your heart!

If you have time, (don't say soon lol) come to my corner and see if my words will soon take form in your heart and spirit to inspire!

All I can say is......I hope you write another book and poem SOON! :)

You knew I would be silly!

Actually, our self doubts are the interesting binds that tie us to fluid words like "soon".

Perhaps in writing this, you found your soon. I hope so.

so very true--i attempted to describe to my young grandchild what soon meant and decided on a different adverb!

Funny the words we use without really thinking of their meaning. Soon is one of them. Of course I hope it will be sooner than later that you resolve this, but when is soon?;-) You really gave us food for thought Michael!

One way or another, you will soon know how soon is soon, sooner or later...and for your sake sooner would be best, cause later's bound to suck...LOL!
