Been a rough two months now, and the road is long.Weariness replaces fear, as peace no longer sings its song.

Ambrosia’s Twilight

Twilight of ambrosia

a hard pelting rain,

remorse of confusion

against sheltered life’s stain.

Shadows play hard

 against minds crumbling wall,

as darkness beckons

to heed nothings call.

Battles rage.

hearts torn asunder.

light begins to fade,

to spirits of plunder.

Consummation dies hard

against a withering yellow moon,

 principles revealed

weakness yet shorn,

as the black chalice of submission

from battles rage is born.

Darkness against light

evil is worn,

Goodness wins, as always in the end,

as a new creature from ambrosia’s twilight is born.

I read something once that said, "Art emerges under duress" or something like that. You are certainly proving that theory true. This is an excellent write. I'm glad to see you back on ad.

Very glad to hear that, J. Allen. Continue to fight The Good Fight.

You have travelled a long and foreboding road Allen with grace and acceptance, and you are now coming out of it, back into the Lord's Light !
Redemptive Road is the the trail you are on Allen, and you will be enriched by the Fruits of the Spirit for your faithfulness and forbearing !

Dreary, but optimistic in the end, although goodness does not always wind, still, it is the hope that it will which keeps us going.

Like the meaning of the word itself although talking about your pain there is a sweet taste of hope and promise in this write of what will prevail.
