A riddle for thee.
I stand watch under the desert sky,
as I have watched with amazement the passage of time.
I have seen both good and evil, and
Many a tale, I could tell, if I only had voice to speak,
or the ear of one that could hear.
Silence has locked this beauty within,
as another day passes with the wind.
Who am I that could weave this tapestry of words,
and tell you the secrets of this desert world,
for many dreams have passed under the scrutiny of my ever watching eye.
I weave a web of intrigue,
So look and listen if you can,
for if you ever come to this desert land
you may get a glimpse of me.
I will leave you with a clue.........
Native Americans use me....
What Am I
Who am I......
I have a name...
But today, I am a spider.
