This is inspired by a sad tale recounted on a crime documentary where a small child lost their life. I thought how can man be so evil and then I recalled that in the last days, man will be turned over to their reprobate mind…..

Rooms of sorrow open up before my eyes,

as a quickening prevails upon the tainted skies,

giving a voice to the small child’s laughter in my mind.

Laughter that once filled this now dark and hollow place,

oh how it bemoans of lost tomorrows and scathing disgrace.

For I enter into this world like a whisper as in a specters state,

and I see in the corner of this room, a child’s bed and a child’s fate.

Tattered and stained of red are the sheets and the covers spread.

And at the foot, propped neatly on the floor, just sitting in place,

is a one legged  stuffed bear with sunken button eyes and dirty face.

Over on the wall, hanging askew, is a painting of Jesus and the apostles few.

And on the floor is a comb, a brush and pretty bows that golden hair once adorned,

yet what took my eye, is the tiny dress that this small tender child had once worn,

it was hand sewn with tender love, yet now at the seams, it was ripped and torn.

Thunderous rage began to fill me within in the depths of my burdened soul,

as these visions of yesterdays horror, before my eyes did unfold,

a tale of terror that is yet unseen, a story of what evil can bring.

This is but one of many horrible scenes that will soon be told.

For there is a day in the future, which in reality for me is in the past,

unless there is intervention, or intersession, by means of prayers cleansings fast.

A child with hair of gold shall never have another day to glory or behold.

For the evil that dwells in mans heart,

can destroy the goodness of many a small soul.

For this is a day that is coming soon, a day when the gates of hell are opened wide,

and vast legions of evil will upon this earth embark,

to usher in the last vestiges of the apocalyptic doom.

So this I pray…that you too join me today,

in earnest intersession for God to stay his hand

and peace and love will prevail throughout the land.

Prayers for the todays and tomorrows to come. May peace abide and be found by all. Our savior will take care of it eventually in his own time. I like the thinking and reception of this one. It is unusual in that it looks forward to an evil world going corrupt but it will finally be made right with prayers and God's doings at the end. Never give up the faith.

Allen, this moves and shakes the foundations, I hope it moves hearts and souls, too! You know I join you in this prayer, for it is what we are called to do in Hosea 6:1-3! Inspired writing!

You are so right, J. Allen...the stench of evil in
the world has reached clear up to the nostrils of
the Almighty, I'm sure...and soon...he will say
"Enough!" I like your use of the word "reprobate,"
for certainly much of mankind wears this label in
the time of the end.
