If we were not created first,
We perhaps would not be so bold;
At times when things are at its worst,
We often treat those who care cold;

There is a sensitive side to a man,
Sensitive enough from which we apologize;
We do make mistakes beyond what to stand,
And I hope one was not looking in your eyes.

But we could be wrong again,
The ways of a man could make me
Lose someone closer than a friend;
If not for these ways...
The ways of a man.

I tried but I know I can't rest,
Because I alienated your smile;
We are fools while you settle for less,
Hoping that change comes after a while.

We often tend to get beside ourselves,
And always forget what matters the most;
I placed you second to everything else,
Leaving you in the shadows as a ghost.

But I could've assumed awry,
The ways of a man could make you
Believe what we shared was a lie;
If not for these ways...
The ways of a man.

I miss your...
Style, smile, elegance
And grace.
(If not for the ways.)

You know now...
There aint nothing
That can take your place.
(If not for the ways.)

These ways...
The ways of a man.

I'm sorry.
