Train Dance
Forever in the night ends in three hours
six hours past my bed time
comes the mundane hot social waning of the powers
hurry up and be genuine
searching for the nostalgic smoggy alley
before the daytime comes again
in the abandoned halls of buildings searched
painted murals and signals of space and time
grass dancer halted flew up and perched
the shade is gone, I've now changed my paradigm
forever though I am clever
like Loki waiting by the city river
dark rapids flood under the train
rusted bridges replaced my natural terrain
That black figure haunts near those places
he is actually me, and my young naive expectations
war paint sprayed all over the walls
angry horse caboose smoking out of it's shawls
beneath the street lamp ghost of the song I used to sing crawls
leaps into the lodge my grudge had been built upon,
now falls
