a new country song. I'll post the musical version later.

If you’ve a mind to bring me trouble you will find me waiting here

But don’t be too surprised at what you see.

For Trouble never left my side after I left the farm

And Trouble really never troubled me.

Trouble hung around me since I was just a boy—

Trouble was the closest friend I ever had.

Trouble made my home a wreck and made my sister cry—

Trouble often left my papa fighting mad.

Trouble followed me to school—just wouldn’t stay away—

Trouble always stayed there with me by my side.

Trouble came to mama’s funeral—despite tears I held inside—

I could never escape Trouble though I tried.

I never looked for Trouble and I don’t look today.

But Trouble always seems to look for me.

So if you’re coming here with Trouble, I’ll be waiting for you pal,

Because Trouble never really troubled me.

Trouble always stayed right with me—never leaving me alone—

Until one day old Trouble set us free.

I can’t forget how strange it felt when Trouble left our home—

Trouble’s always been way of life for me.

My life’s a little empty now since Trouble went away;

Because Trouble never really troubled me.

So If you want to bring me Trouble then step on up inside

Because Trouble is my little dog, you see.

An admirable suspense writing.
"Trouble" makes one feel like watching a motion-picture.
It is indeed an enjoyable reading piece.
