Questions asked sometimes knowing that there may not be answer.

Is what you see really what you get;
Is it the truth or a gilded mask
that hides the sorrow from the past...
and we pay the price to hide dispair?

We keep our sorrows deep inside
only me, myself and my savior
really see the beaten truth;
we sing and smile with eyes so blank.

Don't allow the enemy to know
the lonely nights of prayer to show
the path to follow to reach the prize
and so we duck behind the disguise.
