Just a few thoughts on life.

I was thinking about life the other day

and wondered what it was all about

What is it's purpose and meaning

We are born, we grow, we mature, we decline and  finally we die

a fact we share with all living things

During our life span we accumulate vast knowledge,

We create wonderful things, procreate children, write great

literature as a whole as per Shakespeare and and other great

poets, build magnificent structures ,the Great Cathedrals come

to mind

then "poof" we are gone .

It seems so pointless, meaningless to me

Over the centures men wrestle with this phenomenon

Forwarding all types of speculations, mostly empty ones

and some times I wonder if it's not all a huge

Cosmic Joke played on us by the Creators or maybe there is a

Perhaps, like Bertrand Russel ,the great Philosopher and

mathematician when asked this question replied " This I know

when I die. I shall rot! "

I wonder
