The snow capped mountain stood like a magnificent Colossos against

The clear blue summer skies

Surrounded by stoic Evergreens

Standing quietly at it's sides

The  pea green lake lay placidly at it's feet

Reflecting this great giant in the hot summer heat

.A pair of swallows circled a solitary hawk in delight

Making it take angrily to flight

The playful chipmunks watched this drama

Unfold near a slow water fountain

by the pea green lake

below the snowcapped mountain
