II – Nocturnal Gods
I’m reclined, intrinsically, upon nightfall…
Denuded, she, of moons and breeze
yet clothing my nude self, in that profound blue
of quietness, cool, in a remote way
but only briefly
for soon it glides with the warmth of a sublime velvet
wrought in spirals that evoque arrivals from afar
and fulfilled sighs…
I see but with the lightest brush of fingertips
upon lips parted and letting inside
what the eyelids deliberately veil
and is nothing but the lusty texture of the air
shimmering with minute glows, perhaps of fires
that go to sleep when stars awaken
near the pores…
I sense myself as goddess in the chambers of the goddess
and she, the night, is pervaded by my own wait…
Languid and unhurried, she as myself
in this natural obscurity of the female clothed, solely, in being ready
to welcome, denuded of human, if sublime velvets
and arrived from afar with fulfilled sighs
a natural, nocturnal god.
