Sometimes I wish I had a home
that is ever in one place
But then I'd miss being the starry
nights of yellow glitter

Sometimes I wish for a garden with
herbs and flowers
and such...But then I'd miss the glory
being of the cosmos

I am a child of the universe, It's in my
soul, and free to
be...sprinkling dreamy creamy yellow
glitter for mankind

This is a neat take on our collective identity crisis. We want all the earthly trappings but crave the freedom of the universe.

Do you remember Marlo Thomas' "Free To Be, You And Me"? I like the wide open freedom of this poem with the sprinkling of yellow glitter whenever and wherever you want sprinkle it! Fun and fantasy.

enter sandman.....indeed, we are children of the universe, born into the material with convenient amnesia until that day when there's a flash moment of clarity: this is not my home, i am one who treads the stars! excellent poem.
