It is not easy being a crustacean
in a pot...Am I the trick or the treat?

Not quite sure what this is all about!
Perhaps needing to
appear as a cute
bug not to eat instead

Will I grow up to find out
what I am to
be? from the
many faces of a spooky
Hallowed Ween

Vivian,
This is very clever and charming indeed;
beautiful words and pic.
reminds me in a way of how some mothers
place their toddlers in buckets of water
(water up to the chest only!) during the hot
season here in parts of Asia.

Hope this turned out OK in the end; it's a bit worrying to note that the grown up in the picture is wearing a chef's jacket. The baby does look good enough to eat it must be said. Cute little poem too!

A nice trick, and it saves diapers.
I hope that you find out what to be when you grow up.
I'm looking forward to finding out when I grow up too.
