Aura In the Legacy

Facing mortality blinded
of color in beholding
can one amass a treasure
chest of what we loved best
for a legacy of how we lived
being worthy of existence

Perhaps sparkling gems
of jeweled case, exquisite
Victorian lamp with vanity
china and crystal setting
of golden tableware fit for
king and queen dining

But for joy of wonderment we
must digress from these tangible
things leaving worthiness emitting
from one's aura to communicate
living happiness

To dance in a storm for sun bright
experiences to follow, rose tinted
friendships, sadness tempered with
laughter, love aglow, night beams
from the man in the moon twinkling
stars in our eyes for faith in hope

Embrace a mind's creations for
such verbiage left behind being
another's generation of treasure contiguous to be the legacy with
color wheels emanating from one's
core transporting awe of aura
revolving arrays of charity

So much food for thought Vivian but you assure we may digest it with ease in "But for joy of wonderment we
must digress from these tangible
things"

It would be great if we got it right every time; probably. It is often said that the only way we can make sense of life is by looking backwards but unfortunately life is lived in a going forward kind of way. I liked the Mother Teresa moment in the last three lines.

Such a stunning array of wordage and colorful descriptions is this beauty. To live for the aura and leave the aura in your legacy is a wonderful thing. I have a fantastic feeling that you will certainly be one of those special people that will do just that.
