Eyes they do tell ageless for truth
one's soul owning in displaying
signs of fool's gold or priceless
gems stored within

Dilate sight frozen stoic of emotions
de voiding any hesitation lingering of
worthless intentions

Dazzling can be feelings seeing
oneself mirrored in splendor blinking
back core of visions as spectrums of

Portals for visions being the gateways
to all senses magnified in significance
making eye contact winking at life's path

Clearing eyes for seeing pleasures opened
from happiness ungated into believing
pastures of green

The eyes have it. That ability to telegraph ones intention and bear the soul. I'll wink to that.

Whether we think of eyes as plain receptors or something much more sophisticated and alluring, there is no doubt that your poem captures the complexity of the sense of sight and its importance to us humans. I like the notion that our eyes are the gateway to the other senses.

a vision of rare delight
whose sight ignites kaleidoscopic night
exploding a dawn of possibilities
with impish glee...

You've done it again... another taste of the Wunderbar!
...flavored sweetly in sound and sense...
full of portent... in spirit immense...
lush in *pastures of green*
what more could you possibly mean?

Let peace with its lilting lull ravish your heart.

Aye, the eyes have it, Vivian. There is nothing as wonderful as seeing as pair of beautiful eyes light up when you walk into the room. You are the king of the castle when that happens. Loved this expressive poem of the eyes very much.
