Garlands of heart imagine
me upon the beach looming
silence of tattered and torn
from my young life scorned

Message is casting this anguish
far away with dolphins at play
just as surely as a new horizon
of infallible mind indulgence for
antidotes of empowerment

Setting aloft the wind of this
ancestral space which caresses
my angered face poised to be
whispers of inner sanctum

F ears to face...
R esurgence to become...
E xpeditiously and
E ternally free to be

Always a dream-like situation to be the receiver of such a message and respond in kind. Beautiful sentiments expressed.

If only it were that easy to cast away our troubles. I'm sure most folks like the idea of a message in a bottle, the infinite possibilities that come with the act offset by the remote chance that anyone will find the message. You have handled this theme really well, it makes a good read.

I have received your message from the bottle cast in a far-off shore and read it. Now, I have a clear understanding of you.

A fine "message" well-shared, Vivian; also I love the imagery as well as the lovely image that you have chosen to represent your theme. Thank you. Love and best wishes,

Leave the wine as well in the bottle, as it will make the easiness of this poem go down smoother...

Love this self-introspection, whether for real or made up make not one whit of difference, Vivian. It is the grit within the lines that lend hope and eventual salvation to this lonely person. You struck a good chord with me here.
