| Your poem continues the classical treatment of the weeping willow. I can think of three or four classical poets who have used this type of imagery. You are in good company. |

In Ireland The Pussy Willow is know as one of “the seven noble trees of the land” and was honored for its multi uses from basket weaving to thatching spars and wattles including many others.

Powerful words to illustrate the moods and tempo of one who is a "weeping willow." You drew me into a vortex of understanding with your words of caring. Unusual, thought provoking and very good!

Weeping can be good for the soul. The last time I used a weeping willow in a poem it was very sensual.
