SPEAKING TO JESUS

I paused to speak privately as I went about my day

It seemed there were so many things
and I hadn't taken time to pray.

I don't know how you do it
How busy you must be,
to stop and listen patiently
to everyone on a bended knee.

It seems we get so busy only calling when in need
when you are always listening
if we will only see.

Lord, help me to remember
your always there and you care,
and all I have to do
is lift up my voice in prayer.
