| Very sad. Reminds me of my first Christmas alone in 2005. I cried myself to sleep thinking of my ex-husband spending Christmas with "her." |

Dee this rings with an aching lonliness of a love that could not be put to rest. Maybe the New Year will find a new love for that is usually what gets us past an old one.

| Hi Denise... oh my... being alone is one thing...but being alone on New Years is horrible.... I wish you love my friend...and hope that you will find the right one in 2009!!! Denise, I can relate totally to this. ONe thing however, I am not going to spend another New Years Eve alone. That is something I am going to be working on this year..This year is going to be my Year of Love, and that is positively my priority!
