My first thoughts while reading this piece is the honesty of it. The feelings of confusion and passion come through very clear. The second thought was how very easy it is to read, the flow from line to line is smooth and thus so creates a beauiful sound. By the way I love the painting, lovely~!

Ah, nightmare of mortal illusions, but the promise of spiritual reality. Gorgeous poem, Vesna! If this is typical Croatian verse, I may have to move there!
Write on!

Vesna, I would say the Soul's wish would be for a love that's true; a love that knows no pain or disappointment. I hear the cry of a voice longing to find that forever love...and find it it will when sought for in the right place.
Great writing!
Much love and happiness

Dear Vesna,
What beautiful prose. I know the emotion. I am there also. The joy of life is antithetical to sorrow realized. I have been away so, so, long. I am occupied with domestic political necessity. Our nation is simmering with fascist threats.
A dark period is upon us, if patriots are not compelled with onus.
Please pray for our people.
Very truly yours,
Bruce |

Wow, after reading how fantastic this write is I wonder how I can even dare call myself a poet. Your skill, passion and imagery is more then I can absorb in one reading. I will save this and savor it again and again. Well done dear freind.
