...and so..as I wait..I live and write..indeed The Lone Flame am I
oh well... :)))))

ART..Vesna

I wait
and wait
for you
to appear
yet
I am left
with only a tear

'twas your flame
that led me
to you
so I placed
all my trust
in the wondrous
Two
that
become One
and so
it is done

Continually..the lone flame
which is me
gently
sends out
a plea

Come
merge
with me
so others
will follow
the light
glowing
radiant
in this night
soaring
with us
in glorious
flight

Let us be
 that which we are
a glorious..magnificent
Star!

as david icke always remarks, we are spiritual beings here on earth having a human experience. this is where the confusion lies; however, he also says that at some point, we chose to be here at this particlur time for a particular reason. imagine the concept of that! it would be like volunteering to partake in a play to act a certain role at a certain point in the plot; but when you actually arrive on stage, you can't recall why you're there or what you're supposed to be doing. for those who are perhaps a bit more perceptive than others, he or she may finally arrive at the epiphany: "oh, i must be here on stage for a reason, as i'm sure it's no accident." that's when we reach for the light, learn our proper lines and transcend confusion and dismay. excellent poem!!

Ah Vesna- that fire which can never be quenched...
We seek fusion and are given confusion.
But I am finding in stillness the muddy waters clear- and the light can be reflected brighter than I imagined.
Beautiful yearning poetry as always.

John
