Thank You Elizabeth
In the hope that this verese may help someone in some small way

HEAVEN or HELL

Heaven or Hell is in our own hands,
Do we buckle under or do we take up a stand?
We can be at the mercy of the fickle finder of fate,
Or battle the odds and a success of life make.

We can cry out to God to hear all our pleas,
And in abject submission do nothing to ease,
The weight of the burdens that keep drag ging us down,
Going on throughout life with a groan and a frown.

Or we can muster our courage and use what we’ve got,
Standing up to be counted, giving thanks to our God,
Mustering strength to live day by day,
With His hand to guide us, we can in that way

Learning to conquer our fears and our doubts,
Having faith in ourselves, that’s what it’s about,
Strengthened by knowledge, that we’re not alone,
There’s others to help us , we’re not left on our own.

Talking to others can bring us relief,
The sharing of problems can strengthen belief,
And teach us truly to Believe in Ourselves,
To have Faith in the Future, creating Heaven from Hell.

I think we have limited control.. We can control how we deal with tragedy but we cannot control what befalls us. Great write.

Beautiful John..
We do have control
over what we make
of our lives.
This is EXCELLENT
and thought provoking.
