Ladybug - Ladylove
By Handsum-Hart

Beautiful is the way
Kids like ladybugs,
Because they are so colorful
And easy to catch in a jar.
But
more beautiful is the way
Men like ladies,
Because they are so lovable
And fun to catch
When a man uses his heart as a net.

Beautiful are the names
Given to ladybugs;
In Spain ladybugs are called mariquitas.
In Portugal ladybugs are called joaninhas.
But
more beautiful are the names
Given to ladies;
In the world of romance
Ladies are called smoochie girls.
In the sea of fable
Ladies are called mermaids.

Beautiful is the belief
In the Kingdom of Sweden,
That if a ladybug
Lands on a young maiden’s hand
Soon she will be married.
But
more beautiful is the reality
In the Kingdom of Love,
That when a lady’s love
Lands romantically upon a man’s heart
Immediately she will become his ladylove
And she, he will marry.

Give a man a ladybug
And it will bring
Good luck into his life.
But
give a man a ladylove
And she will bring
Heaven into his life.

Yes Ron, sometimes. This is a wonderfully romantic poem, and it comes from your heart. But Ron, seriously tho. Smoochie girls???? Really, now.

Merry Christmas Ron, to you and your family and loved ones, and a very Happy New Year too.

May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFULS ISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Babrie

L o v e . it ., Handsum. {?Ronald Howard Moman?} So clever, so
. . .when you're right, you're right:). Educational, besides. Always loved ladybugs, and it is great to be able to add mariquitas
and joaninhas to what little I know. {Love to know how to pronounce
joaninhas, hint, hint.} By the way, I consider broad an acceptable variation. OK, it doesn't sound ladylike. There are ladies, & there are ladies. {Ladies of the night, let's not talk.} Thank you
for posting this creative and highly enjoyable piece de resistance.
