Trapped without a breath.....

I am trapped

I have been here so long

Trapped in this small space in my mind

Trying to get out

A key does not unlock the door

I always ask myself why I am here

I want to leave

I want to get out

I need to be free but

I am only trapped without

A single free breath of fresh air

A smell of a flower blooming in the spring

Being trapped without a breath is like

Drowning in the middle of no where and

No one knows I am out there yelling for help

Pleading for someone to be there for me

Loneliness comes into view and

In the clear is myself

Still trapped and also pleading

For someone to be there for me

Help Help is cried from my lips

The only crazy thing is

When in my messed up mind am I

I will get out someday when

I have all the clues of the world

When I can understand that

I am really not trapped

I have someone

I am not lonely or by myself

I am free to take that breath

I can smell that flower blooming in the spring

The one drowning in the lake is helped

And can breathe again

No one is alone in this world and then again

No one is really trapped either

Are they?
