Wake up, dear souls, wake up I say
As reason calls out, each passing day.
Yet we are blind, and cannot hear
And with each day, so grows our fear.
Our hearts are weary, our eyes are dim
We're lulled to sleep, with each new whim.
Until the day, when terror strikes
And all our hopes are turned to frights.
We try to flee and escape our fate
But yet, alas, it is too late.
