Wrapped in a rainbow
Where I never dream,
Counting the colors
That I’ve never seen.
Oceans of sand dunes,
Mountains of snow,
Fields of green pastures
Where I‘ll never go.
Black is the color
Of my true love’s hair;
Black as my future
And the crosses I bear.
How can I paint
Her beauty and grace
When I’ve never seen
A smile on her face?
Lost in a landscape
Where stars never shine,
Living the nightmare
Of being born blind.
