Phenomenon Of Love
By Ashraf Gohar Goreja
O you, pretty lonely soul
Exploring through your modest wisdom
The sensitive mores of secretive life
Felicitous, happy and some time sad and yearning
Difficult to comprehend without profound learning
By art, genius implore the provisions of love
Vigilant in virtue, sweet in merit, and oft aesthetical
Its demands are impulsive and decrees, peremptory
By its own fashion, it's bound to betray
The hearts full of delight, are suppose to decay.
O you, pretty lonely soul,
Love is like a brilliant flame, which enchants the very soul
From a distant, it looks pleasing, by nature, its' spellbound,
It is an agonizing sorrow, dreadful and inert
If you swallow, it terminates the life, expelling hurt
But you, O pretty lonely soul,
Are anxious, over love, which is deliberately vicious
If you could rearrange the phenomenon of love
And unpredictable fortune of stars
It might heal your heart, by mystifying all scars.
