|Aw! That's rough...growing up with 6 siblings I sure "get" how we're so different oftentimes we are strangers...and more often than not it's better to leave it that way...but I am learning to embrace our differences rather than criticize each other "for" our differences....touching write, my friend...

|The reality that most try and ignore is ironically transformed here into the reasoning and rational behind much of the social networking today becoming the surrogate family relationships many find lacking in their other realities.|

|Sorry that that's true. My twin and I have always differed except on the important things.
My younger twin brothers--16 years younger--got a good taste of me from 4 to 6, at 15, and Tim, his first year of college. We don't always agree, but are not strangers, though we are thousand of miles apart. My sister thinks she knows me, but she doesn't.

|I know families that are strangers and have moved apart from one another. It is a sad state of affair and sometimes you wonder if closeness will ever be repaired. Only to talk like acquaintances who would sit in a coffee shop.
Thank you for the thoughts and reminders for others to review what they have as in family. And perhaps time to make repairs.

A situation most would not understand, I am the young of which you speak, my brother was 16 years older than me and went in the navy when I was 8 months old and off to Korea. This is not like what most think of as siblings. You as always give us verse to that expresses this very expertly.
