I like this. It's simple and yet powerful all the same. Such a truth within so few words. A great piece.

This is great, saying so much with few lines, and "fail to notice what we've done" just explodes like the heat of a moment does. Fantastic.

Oh How I have missed your poetry. Glad to be back and above water today. It's amazing how this world is going,,,such a roller coaster ride for sure. Yes we all should forget the past and live for the moment...
Awesome poetry as always, my friend,
Peace, love and light,

Snappy, crafty piece of poetry; and excruciatingly exquisite is "...and fail to notice what we've done" I find this a joyfully aware work of art, Jerry. ~~ Diana

Your part of the world must be more exciting than mine :)
Maybe I need to get out more (laughing a wee bit)
Ah but this day and age I'm sure your quite right, also
nature human desire. We write about, romanticize it, make
movies about it, there's brothels for it. Old men remember the days
of their youth and all their conquered conquests.
Well, this was an interesting one. Like the picture Jerry...
Happy 4th my dear friend!
