| Ron, sometimes I think you read what you want to read, not what is in the poetry. I never even hinted that we are in as bad a times as the Great Depression or the Civil War, where'd the hell did you get THAT? World War I, II, and III? I was talking about POLITICIANS, man! |

What, me worry? I know that you're getting pelted with rain and soggy up to your knees, that would put anyone in a dismal mood. But comparing our times to something like the Great Depression or the Civil War… Or even World Wars I or I I, is like comparing a linotype to a laptop computer. We will muddle through and come up with solutions, too late, like we always do.

| This is a very good write. Jerry, you speak the truth but I fear you are a pessimistic poet. If we lose faith, we lose everything, so please, hang in there! Everyone, pray to whom you pray, send positive vibes into the universe, do whatever it is you must to feel helpful, and don't give up! Be well, be strong, Kathy |

the right path`may be taking us through some dangerous unknowns but at least we will be headed toward the chance of saving the principals that have given us the freedoms so many of us take for granted. freedoms that are piece by piece being stripped from us as we sleep.
the left has promised us a leveling of playing fields with the 3rd world countries so all are equal. i doubt that any of us will relish living amidst poverty and gunfire as our neighbors in iran iraq egypt etc etc...obama has unabashedly laid this out before us to see...who's seeing?....who's reading? what his plans for america are? we shoould all be trembling at the very prospect of the life of slavery to government he has promised us.
jerry i'm surprised by this nibbling around the edges of what's really going on. whew! you didn't even ask for that did you...sorry, it just fell out without my help |

Yes as far as politics because, we never
hear the truth from either side. As you
said finger pointing.
I get sick of it. Mudslinging doesn't do it
for me. All I want to hear is, what can
you do for our country and be honest.
Good points Jerry
