sometimes the best things come to true friends.

Friends they had been she and he
laughing, crying being free
while learning who they could be.
Once during friendly banter
she smiled and said to mister
my leglock you could not clear.

If you did he retorted
do you really think I would
want to escape what you did.
Both laughed it was forgotten
Then one day they were playin
and this pin she put him in.

He did not squirm or wiggle
but slow turned to face her full
on extended arms held still.
While she sat smiling her hold
he lowered and kissed her bold
that she released him and held.

After that they were not just friends
and this was said would not end
for they still played and horsed around.
Too they laughed until they rolled
some said they would put on gold
or so the story has been told.

A good rhyme about how some meet
and have a grand time
and then later in life the bells chime.

Sounds like my first go
in marriage row...

Just goes to prove that you can be friends and still have that "other" attraction for each other. Enjoyed the time and effort you put into this one, Budd.

This is how true friendship starts, with the freedom to know one another through sharing and laughter. It is good for the soul... uplifting, precious and special.

A beautiful story Budd
