Caliginous skies stall
Maples bend at the waist
Laden with heavenís bounty
Aching, yet
Determined to touch the sun
Stormís aftermath
Strewn helter-skelter

In the most tenebrous, obscure hour
Beseeching the skies
I perceive the slightest glint
Seeping though the stormís clouds
Creationís illumination

An encouraging, inspiring calm
Pervades my being
Eagerly, I sunbathe
Basking in its warmth
Nourishing my soul

Trying to point it out to you
You ask, ďWhere?Ē

If only you were a poet
Youíd see it too

And a brilliantly illuminated dichotomy it is--whereas others often lack the soul of the poet that allows for such revelations, blessed be those poets who take time to share their soul's special vision in poems such as this.

Tami, you are a poet.
In a flashing moment
I saw you there
In your glory,
A moment of peace.

Indeed! Poets "see" things that others cannot or do not want to see. Nicely done, Tami. Love and peace to you,
