From one of my silly moods

Jibbery, Job, Ja-roo

Chippity, chop, beebop
The beautiful horse clip clopped
Enroute to the mountainís tiptop
But halfway there
A grasshopper did scare
And suddenly the horse fell kerplop!

Bizzery, bozz, bizell
The riderís name was Nell
Horse went down, and Nell fell
The horse did rear
And Nell got skeered
What a surprise - Schizell!

Lilly, lolly, la-loo
What in the world to do?
Nellís whole body was loose
Could hardly move
He clearly disapproved
Nell thinks he broke his caboose - Oh pooh!

Tillery, tob, tabeeb
Calmed now, horse wants to proceed
So horse takes off - full speed
But wait! Still in the stirrup, Nellís foot
Nell yells, "Stay put!"
Begging, but horse wonít heed!

Bippity, bop, kaboom
Nellís body floats like a plume
No humor in this assumed
Never mind the broken butt
Nellís frustrated - now what?
Dang horse - "Whoa!" Nell fumes

Klick klack, Gobbledygook
Horse stopped and Nell shook
Damages? Nell took a look
Pleasant ride today, beguiling
Looked up to find a maiden, smiling
Nellís pride hurt - "Awww, Schinook!"

Jibbery, job, ja-roo
Nellís feelings all askew
Maiden asks, "You through?
If you are, Iíll take you to town,
Let the doc fix that frown"
Jibbery, job, ja-roo

Thanks for sharing your silly mood. Loved your poem. It transformed my outlook from a seriously grumpy mood into a silly mood. What a wonderful present on a Monday morning!

I agree with Andy below, this does have a Lewis Carol flavor to most certainly is humorous...more than once while reading it, I had to smile thinking had this happened to me, the terminology would have required your creative use of sound words to make it presentable...hehehehe...Excellent work my friend.
