Bit by bit he takes of me;
A weathering of my being,
A tearing of what all sees,
But do not know.

Yet my soul stays determined to go on,
Not broken,
Not changed;
I will make it through this treachery,
Push through this evil pain,
Crush the grief that plunges through my heart.

He takes and does not give,
Peels at the flesh,
Yet does not have mercy,
Pokes at my soul,
Yet does not give the final blow.

Oh how I wish for the end!
How I wish for peace,
How I wish for a solution,
To end this disease!
To end this hell that tracks
My every step on my path!

Will you leave!
At the least,
Then let me perish!
I do not want this life,
This pain,
This suffering!

Is this some pompus joke?
Some jesterís evil prank?
Why me?
Why my life?
Give it back, you evil thing!
How dare you do this to me!

I will go on,
You will see!
You will not prevail!
Never again!
Not ever again!

Hope the pain lessens and you get free of it. Much we must bear sometimes, but God does not give you more than you can bear. Sometimes we think we have more than we can bear but when it is over with we realize we did not have much to bear, but have much to live for. Beautiful write**********
