Happiness gives us hope and tragedies provocation

Tragedies melt down
In the gloomy gazes of eyes
As if the dew drops
Dissolve the clay-toys

Tragedies have names
Their faces, tribes and games
Tragedies have their colonies
And whispers and rhymes

Tragedies make poets
Thinkers and Duets
Tragedies write “the Faust”
“Hamlet” and “Roots”

Wilde and Tagore,
Talestoy and Doestovesky
All have their roots
In the abundance of tragedy

Happiness gives us hope
And tragedies provocation
To climb up to the height
And climax of the civilisation

The sad thing is when two civilizations clash, as did the Turks and the Byzantines, the barbarians and the Romans, the Hindu and the Moslem in India, and the great clash of civilizatoins now occurring between the Moslem and Christian worlds, spiked by U.S. intransigeance in Iraq and Moslem insanities through Al Quaida and the like. I am to the point where I don't see an end to it in our lifetimes, which could be much shortened if another World War comes out of this. You are right about tragedies, but they don't have to be localised. They can be world wide and unstoppable.
